You see the reason you can be judge of slams and arbiter of big Overland blogs, Maxine is because time and again you put the proof on the table in an unarguable way, proof of your point but also proof of your incredible gift. ReplyDeleteIt's one of those things isn't it, like Bobby Mcferrin and his Don't worry, be Happy song. People made up a story about him killing himself. Heron had to take the weight of a revolution that didn't happen, televised or otherwise. I do love the way you bring out this sharp double-edged sword.

No such thing as a failed revolution, it is a constant ongoing process.
ReplyDeleteToo wise Paul. Failed revolution effort? No, that would also be incorrect. I guess we attach revolution to end result sometimes, rather than looking at what has been accomplished, which in Gil's case is enormous. Word is he has an album heading for 2010.
